An avid sneaker collector, his love of shoes was strong and shared by him and also his father which whom
also collects. As a sneakerhead, the internet is the biggest resource when coming to information and Reggie
took part in the internet shoe community greatly. Known by many members of Uptowns.net, Niketalk.com, and
Issforums.com, he always provided great information and know for making some of the best pick up threads.

Reggie's particular love was for the Nike Air Force 1, he strived on obtaining the rarest and oldest pairs he
could find, reaching all the way to sites in Japanese just to get that one pair. This site was made to
remember Reggie and his passion for the Air Force 1 and with the help of Nike Sportswear and the members
of various shoe forums Reggie participated on, we are coming together to launch the Reggie AF1 Project.

The project will consist of a 1 of a kind Nike Air Force 1 iD that will be commerated after Reggie to
express the love and passion for shoe collecting. After the shoe is produced will be presenting it to the Holloway family
as a gift to show how much Reggie has impacted the sneaker community.

Reggie was a son, a brother, and a friend and he will be missed by those who knew him.

May he rest in peace.

Im so proud to have made a contribution. They came out nice

World Cup round up

So ja the world cup is over.just like that.

I thought I would take a day or two to observe the general post world cup buzz in CPT as well as analyze my own feelings on this past month.

Let's start with the not so positive side of things...where was the bitches?!I spent some time in long str. and other parts of cape town but all I saw was dudes and mexican jackets. When watching scenes from previous tournaments I always thought there were gona be brazilian women in their masses.I feel lied to.

On the flipside I was fortunate to watch quite a few of the games and see some of my favourite players like boufon, cannavaro, pique, fabregas, torres, xavi, iniesta, van persie, sneijder, robben, gerrad, etc. Also bafana didn't do badly at all considering the quality of their group. The unity the country showed when supporting them was nice to see. Also seeing rich white folk taking over the metrorail carrages was something in itself.

Great time but its all gone now

(RED)

(RED) is an initiative to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa. They have collaborated with some of the biggest brands in the world to create limited edition products with part of the profits going to help fighting the disease.Examples of this include special edition all red ipods and motorola phones.

Last year they teamed up with Nike to launch the "Lace up and save lives" initiative starting with the red laces(see pics below). You might have noticed during the course of last season through out the world your favourite soccer players had red places in their boots.

The collaboration has been extended to a limited edition of the iconic Dunk silluette. The sneaker was released for personalisation online for a limited time.

So you are probably thinking to yourself that I'm such a great guy...well I am and I aint...I didn't pay for them(if you don't know who I am then either 1.google me or 2.stop breathing so much) but I did personally request these over dare I say "more aesthetically pleasing" kicks so I could do my little bit to raise awareness amongst my network.

If you know my sister then you know she's a big tekkie kop aswell and it doesnt hurt that big brother is a Nike Icon so thet hooked her up as well...
