Growing up in Cape Town we were all about Air Maxes, Air Jordans, TLs and Shox. You were cool if you more than one pair back in the day.

I always liked having shoes. I had heard of the Air Force One but never actually seen, as these werent available in South Africa and interet access being scarce to us "urban youths". Then song came out...and I fell in love with a shoe like I had never before. I became obsessed with getting as many pairs as possible.
