Artist Yué Wu Turns Back the Clock on the Nike Air Max

As part of Nike’s Air Max Day festivities, the Oregon sportswear leviathan commissioned Paris-based illustrator Yué Wu for an animated short turning back the clock on the brand’s iconic sneaker line. Wu’s distinctive illustrations bring the historic series to life with vivid renditions of the line’s most iconic models, alongside some of the many overlooked Air Max models – can you spot the Air Max BW and Air Max 2 Light amongst the familiar faces? Nike also shot a short video highlighting Wu’s creative process, which can be seen below.

BRANDS NEED THE YOUTH

I know alot of people my age who are really smart. I also know alot (too many) people my age who think they are smart but are really dumb as fuck. If you think I am talking about you in the second sentence then I probably am.

I often get asked how I managed to form such strong relationships with major brands while being so young. My answer usually is "I understand the game". Yes, thats my answer. As vague and broad as that statement is, it is the truth. I know my weight and can speak their language.
