CONVERSE - GET OUT OF THE GARAGE
Im a Nikehead, everybody knows that and that Im signed with them...thats my family.
I got a mail a few hours ago regarding Converse and I had no problems putting on my blog. Why? Coz I like putting people on. If you have resources that can help others but dont then your are not rich. Wealth is not of the pocket, it is in the mind.
So this is a chance for unsigned artists to put in work. If you see this and dont act then dont ever ask for my help again. Read:
If you are a music fan you might have heard of the legendary The 100 Club in London, which has played host to some of the most influential artists on the planet since 24th October 1942. Well, Converse wants YOU to get out of the garage and be transported to the UK to play a gig at this epic venue.
SA’s finest unsigned musicians now have the chance to showcase their talent, whether it be hip hop, punk, kwaito, pop or whatever else they have to offer! Artists/Bands can upload their most original song and a short biography by visiting the Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/converse. The judges (Zulu Boy, John Savage and Garick Williams) will then narrow down the entries to SA's top 10 unsigned artists. Converse will then showcase these acts on Facebook, where South Africa can vote for their favourites and have the chance to join them VIP style for their gig.
